Almaty Business-2025: entrepreneurs are supported in the metropolis

Almaty residents received loans for development of small businesses for almost 2 billion tenge *. The data for the first half of the year was shared in SEC. Loans were issued under the Almaty Business-2025 program, which offers businessmen low interest rates. They can be used for various business needs, including purchase of equipment, raw materials, to replenish working capital and other important purposes. The maximum loan amount exceeds 73 million tenge, the correspondent reports Almaty.tv.

The program offers entrepreneurs low-interest rates on loans: from 2 to 6% per annum with collateral and 12% per annum without it. Experts say this is a powerful incentive for entrepreneurs, providing an opportunity to develop and expand their businesses under favorable conditions. The maximum loan amount exceeds 73 million tenge, with a term of up to 7 years.

This year, the largest number of loans were received by entrepreneurs with production and processing projects, accounting for 32%. In second place were projects providing services to the population at 13%, followed by healthcare projects at 12%. Next are social and educational initiatives, which received 10%. Funding was also provided for projects in the creative economy, trade, tourism, and sports.

Funds are allocated for the purchase of equipment, raw materials, replenishment of working capital, or covering other business needs. Any entrepreneur, or anyone planning to engage in entrepreneurial activities, can apply. They can visit our office, get detailed consultations, and receive a list of required documents, noted Aiman Ongarova, the Director of the Lending Department.

One of those who took advantage of the preferential loan is Aigul Imanserikova, a mother of many children. She is raising a child with developmental disorders. She has always been passionate about cooking, especially baking. Her homemade pies and cakes were very popular among friends and neighbors. Inspired by the positive feedback, she decided to take her hobby beyond her household and turn it into a business. A few months ago, the Almaty resident opened a café. To develop her startup, she took out a loan at 2%.

- I took small steps from my kitchen. I realized that I needed to expand. I took a loan of 32 million tenge to purchase equipment. I gathered the necessary documents within a month. I had no difficulties, and on February 26, I received the money, said entrepreneur Aigul Imanserikova.

The Almaty Business-2025 program has had a significant impact on the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region. As a result, the city's economy receives an impetus for development, and entrepreneurs - the opportunity to implement their most daring plans and projects.
